I’m a UK-based technical director with over sixteen years experience building high-visibility apps and interactive experiences for retail, commerce, heritage and entertainment sectors.
My background is in creative media and digital technology, but I believe my best strength is that I’m a multi-disciplinary generalist that delivers reliable, simple and effective solutions. I used to run Signwave which over the space of ten years created and published a range of generative software artworks and produced interactive media for creative industries. I am the proud owner of awards from Ars Electronica, Transmediale and D&AD. I’ve also performed generative ambient gabba music as part of slub.
In 2007 my friends and I formed Clay Interactive. In my work there I’ve developed front and back-end systems for clients such as Airbus, Christies, The British Library and AEG International. We create a lot of work for museums – my software appears in permanent exhibitions and public-facing events at prominent venues around the world, including The Science Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and EXPO Milano 2015.
